Is your practice 100% certified?

The AOA’s Commission on Paraoptometric Certification is conducting a survey to locate optometric offices that have 100% certified paraoptometric staff.  The CPC would like to recognize optometrists who support the certification program by encouraging their staff to become trained and certified.  Paraoptometric certification is an important aspect of optometric care. Optometrists who support and reward staff training and certification aid the progression of the field of optometry by requiring competency and a recognized level of knowledge throughout their office. Certification can result in higher staff retention when the value of a certified paraoptometric is apparent in the practice.

Following verification, offices with 100% CPC certified staff will be recognized in the AOA News and the CPC newsletter as well as press releases to the appropriate state optometric association for publication in their newsletters. The CPC will also provide congratulatory certificates suitable for framing to offices that meet the 100% certification standard.

CIBA Vision, A Novartis Company has provided the Commission on Paraoptometric Certification with a grant to help support certification for the sixth consecutive year.

Please take a few moments to complete the survey.  Surveys can be faxed to the CPC Office at 314-991-4101 or mailed to:
