Seeking Associate OD
The Eye Institute of Wyoming, P.C. is seeking an associate optometrist. Located in Casper and Douglas, Wyoming, our office serves the ocular needs of patients in central eastern Wyoming. Come practice full scope optometric care including small scale surgical and laser procedures. You'll use your skills to provide high-quality vision care to our patients. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering quality patient care, and is eager to learn and develop their clinical skillset.
Your regular duties will include:
- Perform comprehensive eye exams including contact lens services
- Oversee Staff development, training, and HIPAA compliance
- Diagnose, treatment, and management of ocular disease
- Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients
- Perform minor surgical procedures including non-invasive laser procedures
- Continued development of company reputation through community involvement
Optometrist Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
- Valid state license to practice optometry in Wyoming
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
Compensation:

The Laramie Vision Clinic (LVC), located in Laramie, Wyoming, is looking for a caring and self-motivated optometrist. We have a busy well-established clinic with a stunning brand new building. Laramie Vision Clinic is a sister clinic to Cheyenne Vision Clinic with a combined group of nine optometrists. The group is supportive of each other while each individual remains autonomous to develop the highest standards for their sub-specialty. 
This multi-talented group with highly trained established staff, provides a new optometrist an opportunity superior to most. One will walk into a practice with an outstanding reputation built over decades of providing only the highest quality care in the region.
We have the latest products and offer maximum scope services to patients. These services include comprehensive examinations, contact lenses, specialty contact lenses, pediatric examinations, foreign body removal, cataract and refractive surgery co-management, dry eye therapy, IPL, some low vision, trauma, red eye emergencies, injections, laser eye surgery and ocular adnexa lumps and bumps.
The optical offers brand names and the latest lens technologies. Our onsite lab in Cheyenne offers convenience to patients for both clinics. Our contact lenses program is second to none and has been copied by many nationwide. We inventory many brands of soft contact lenses that are prescribed. Over the decades many contact lenses used today were tested by our group. LVC hosts a cataract surgeon monthly for pre-op exams and has excellent rapport for co-managing all ophthalmology and medicine sub-specialties.
Our clinics are an extern site for two optometry schools and train family medicine physicians. Laramie is a hidden gem and a wonderful place to live and raise a family. The education system is excellent. The tax base is favorable. It has over 250 sunny days each year. Its small college town atmosphere is free of long commutes, traffic and smog; while only just over 90 minutes from Denver and its culture and international airport. Outdoor activities are diverse and abundant; some being nearby world class downhill skiing, cross country skiing, climbing, snowshoeing, fishing, hunting, four wheeling and snowmobiling.
